Negar is a Costume Designer with more than fifteen years of experience. After studying Theatre at Tehran University of Fine Arts, she developed her skills under the supervision of well-known theatre director Ali Rafie. Through the years, Negar has gained the knowledge and experience to design memorable characters both in the theatre and movie industry.
Her costume design in the movie "Universal Language" directed by Matthew Rankin, brought her multiple awards such as Achievement in Costume Design in the 13th “Canadian Screen Awards” and Best Costume Designer in a Sci-Fi/Fantacy Movie in 2025 “CAFTCAD Awards”.
Two times Oscar winner Asghar Farhadi and internationally acclaimed theatre director Amir Reza Koohestani are among many great directors with whom she has collaborated.
Negar costume designed "A Hero" by Asghar Farhadi which won the second highest prize, Grand Prix, at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. The movie was nominated for Best Costume Design in Film and TV- International in 2022 "CAFTCAD Awards".
She has been awarded Best Costume Design in 2018 for the Berlinale nominated movie “Pig”, in “The 20th Celebration of Iranian Cinema". In 2016, she was awarded in the same category for the movie "A Dragon Arrives" from "Iranian Film Critics Guild".
