Negar is an Iranian Costume Designer with more than ten years of experience. After studying Theatre at Tehran University of Fine Arts, she developed her skills under the supervision of well-known theatre director Ali Rafie. Through the years, Negar has gained the knowledge and experience to design memorable characters both in the theatre and movie industry.
Two times Oscar winner Asghar Farhadi and internationally acclaimed theatre director Amirreza Koohestani are among many great directors with whom she has collaborated as a costume designer.
Negar costume designed "A Hero" by Asghar Farhadi which won the second highest prize, Grand Prix, at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. The movie was nominated for Best Costume Design in Film and TV- International in 2022 "CAFTCAD Awards".
She has been awarded Best Costume Design in 2018 for the Berlinale nominated movie “Pig”, in “The 20th Celebration of Iranian Cinema". In 2016, she was awarded Best Costume Design for the movie "A Dragon Arrives" from "Iranian Film Critics Guild".

Based in Canada since 2016, Negar has been a proud member of CAFTCAD and IATSE 873 .
She has also designed for Iranian stars for various international events and red-carpet festivals.
